Traveler reviews for GTVC Speedboat from Sihanoukville to Koh Rong Sanloem

Very bad trip ! The staffs of the speed boats give the priority to the passengers with a ticket bought in a local agency. We had to wait. But finally it remained no place for us. Same thing with another boat but, at the end, the staff was pity of us !

Nice boat. Staff were good - helped with bags. Left a bit later than schedule but arrived in good time. Free bottles of water given out. Had printed online ticket only which went ok. They dont announce departure but pier is small so its easy to keep track

Left and arrived on time. But confusing once on the pier. Make sure you check in with the staff before your time to get on boat. Staff were fine and boat was a good standard!

Not clear about departure and pick up. Finally, we arrived and left Ko Rong Samloen from another pier at 3 kilometres to our hôtel. For the return, we arrived at a pier far away from the city so we must pay a tuck tuck. Be careful but finally good trip.

We take the boat one hour and half late and the same for the return trip.

All a bit haphazard getting on the ferry - leap of faith to get on ferry from jetty (couple of feet above and no adequate plank). No advice of what jetty we were pulling into. I think the nbr of bags we had caused 1 staff to tell us Saracen Bay. Trip OK

It was a bit chaotic before boarding. Actual ride was ok. We left 25 mins after scheduled time.

A bit late on my departure time but overall not bad. Friendly staff, they can understand and speak English.

The GTVC boarding point is at Miiya Hotel. If you arrive early, you can hang out at the boarding point while waiting for the next speedboat. From the boarding point, GTVC will arrange a bus to take you to the pier.
