The most disappointed thing was that no announcement about the reason of the delay and just let the customer waited in the ferry. The departure time was originally 7:30am, but it finally departed at 9:15am.

BookMeBus web site said to arrive at 7:00 am for 7:30 am departure. At dockside, however, departure was said to be scheduled for 8:30 am. Actual departure was 8:47 am.

It's not glamorous but a fabulous experience. The boat left very late, about 1.5 hours after schedule, so don't plan on getting there at 7am (30mins before scheduled departure). 8.30 would have been fine. Regardless, we loved it. Definitely recommend.

Great trip, sitting on the roof of the boat en seeing the fantastic scenery of the lake and rivers! Sunshine and nice people. The trip to the boat (pick up at hostel) was very bad organizes - next time we would take a taxi.

Great trip, highly recommend. Arrived 2 hours early in Phnom Penh. But if I had booked with a local agent I would have been picked up from my hotel. As it was I had to arrange my own transport to the port 16km away.

A good trip - definitely worth it if you like boats and have a robust approach to safety. Take sensible precautions for Sun and when moving around the outside of the boat - life jackets are available. Slightly overpriced possibly

Boat is a little old, noisy and vibrates. But glad i went by boat and not bus. After the lake. Scenery was very nice and see river life of cambodia. With more modern vessel i think it would be very popular with tourists. Departure was late

Terrible-a total rip off-boat was falling apart. 30 minutes in, the hull filled with water and the driver (no english spoken) had to rig up a make shift pump to keep the boat afloat, windows cracked/dirty-you couldn't see out-no life jackets on board.
