Traveler reviews for Mekong Express

This company never contacted Mekong express. So instead of riding in the bus I booked they put us in a smaller van in the back row.

잘 도착했습니다! 메콩 익스프레스 나름 괜찮았어요! 귀여운 벤에 옹기종기 타서! 그치만 기사님이 운전 중에 전화하셔서 조금 불안했고!! 나머지는 다 좋았습니다!

Departed an hour later than scheduled, took longer than it should've to get out of PP, A/C didn't work for the first few hours of trip. Bus broke down about 20 minutes outside of destination-arrived 4 hours later than scheduled- not due to bus break down.

First bus crashed into a tuk tuk. No regard for anyone’s safety on board or the tuk tuk driver. Took an hour to send another bus, which also broke down. Inspector actually found it FUNNY. No communication. AWFUL.

They advertised 6 hour trip. After six hours we had only just passed the border. The lady told me two and a half to get to border. They made us wait an hour before departing and then spent another one in Phnom Penh picking up other people to full up bus

I booked a ticket back to HCMC at 1.30pm for bus depart at 2pm, only until 2.08pm i received my E-ticket? I wasn't able to get on the bus because bus station said they didn't see my booking, lost $12 for nothing

Excellent trip!

Malheureusement, deuxième fois la même journée, le bus est tombé en panne. 1h30 d’attente dans un café pour qu’un autre bus vienne nous chercher et nous emmener à notre destination (arrivée à 1h du matin au lieu de 22h...). Malgré cela, chauffeur sympa!

Might be better to not pick up from hotels it meant the bus set off half an hour late and so the journey was 4 hours not 3.
